CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility Criteria September 2026

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility Criteria September 2026

2 At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
3 Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time.
4 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
5 Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
6 Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education).
7 Any candidate having qualified a B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. As per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person pursuing any teacher education course recognized by the NCTE or RCI, as applicable, specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in TET/CTET.
8 Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
